The Challenge:

Private 5G is becoming enterprise mainstream in logistics, factories and other verticals for enabling automation, security, overall connectivity. But, traditional solutions are complex and expensive to deploy. The market wants plug-n-play simplicity with price points similar to Wi-Fi, but with better reach, stability and reliability.

  • High Upfront CapEx Cost: Traditional P5G requires significant equipment to be deployed at the customer site including a server, switches, timing source, cabling along with software installation and configuration of the system.
  • Long and Complex Deployment Cycle: These solutions require extensive cross-functional team planning and project time across IT, OT, program management, RF Engineering and Procurement.
  • Scale: The industry needs something that can meet smaller scaled deployments (30k square feet, 1-2 radios) that can easily scale up to larger sites (over 100k square feet, many radios). Enterprises want to extend their success with P5G into depots, ports, parking lots, agriculture, solar farms, retail kiosks, etc. But costs and complexity inhibit these smaller scaled use cases.
